Radio Paintings

A painting, not unlike a radio show, is scripted with verses of abstraction. Its similarity is evident of the dichotomy between the monastic act of painting and
the eventual life of the painting once it is cast out from the studio and broadcasting a sensory visual to its audience. When one cuts out the noise of the outside world, we can establish a heightened sense of consciousness, but this requires contemplation,
stillness, and a
‘floating mind’. – Statement for ‘The Radio Paintings’
